TERMS OF SERVICE

Introduction

Welcome to Vedam Eco-Tourist Village & Spa (“Resort”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By booking, checking in, or staying at Vedam, you (“Guest”, “you”, or “your”) agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms govern your stay and use of our facilities.

1. Reservation & Payment

Reservations may be made online, via telephone, or through our authorized representatives.

All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit/debit card or advance payment.

50% payment is required at the time of Booking. Full payment is required at the time of Check-in.

The advance amount is non-refundable and non-adjustable, except under the Rescheduling Policy stated at Reschedule Policy Section.

Outstanding balances must be paid in full at the time of check-in.

2. Check-In & Check-Out

Check-in: From 1:00 PM

Check-out: By 11:00 AM

Early check-in or late check-out may be accommodated subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

All adult guests must present valid government-issued photo ID proof (Aadhaar, Voter ID, Driving License, or Passport).

Details and signatures are required in the guest register at check-in.

3. Room & Property Use

Room occupancy limits depend on the category booked.

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all rooms. Any damage or Odor caused by smoking will incur cleaning or repair charges.

Pets are welcome in our resort & all rooms. A cleaning charge of INR 500 per pet per day applies during Check-in.

Pets are not allowed in the main swimming pool. A separate pool is available for pets.

Pets are Restricted in the following locations - Restaurant, BAR, Games Room, Jacuzzi, Main Pool,

Guests are responsible for maintaining decorum and preventing damage to resort property. Any damages caused by misuse or negligence will be chargeable.

4. Visitors & Conduct

Visitors are permitted only in the reception area. Entry beyond this area will be considered as an extra guest and charged accordingly.

Loud music, speakers, or sound systems are not allowed beside the pool or within resort premises.

Outside food or beverages are not permitted. Violation may attract penalty charges.

Outside hard drinks are allowed only for consumption inside guest rooms.

Abusive language, public intoxication, or unruly behaviour will not be tolerated.

5. Resort Facilities

Pool Timings: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Nylon swimwear required; cotton attire not permitted)
Swimming Costume is Mandatory to Use Any Swimming Pool. We strongly advice to take a shower in our public washroom before entering the pool.

Restaurant Timings:

Breakfast: 8:30 AM – 10:00 AM

Lunch: 12:30 PM – 4:00 PM (last order 3:30 PM)

Dinner: 6:30 PM – 10:00 PM (last order 9:30 PM)

Closed for cleaning: 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM & 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM

Games Room: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM & 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Housekeeping Services: Available from 8:00 AM – 7:30 PM.

Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult when using Pools, Games room, Skywalk & Recreational facilities.

6. Liability & Safety

The resort shall not be liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings. Guests are encouraged to use the in-room safe.

Guests use all facilities (including pools and recreation areas) at their own risk.

The resort is not responsible for any injury, accident, or damage caused due to negligence or misuse of facilities.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of West Bengal, India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hooghly, West Bengal.

8. Amendments

Vedam reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. The latest version will always be available on our official website.
